Playing games, talking about games, streaming games, and being a father and husband.
Sake, a long work week, and these books are creating a crazy idea of streaming a solo RPG
I feel this. This damn game has taken over my free time.
We had A BLAST creating 4 characters last night for City of Mist. If you want to see why I think character creation should be a group activity, this is the perfect example. Watch here: youtu.be/pQIOWoBNBeU #ttrpg
Now, when people ask me if the Emotion Knight I played in DIE by @kierongillen.bsky.social and @rowanrookanddecard.bsky.social had an impact on me, I only need to roll up my sleeve.
What a week we have! On Thursday, we learn what our party will face in the temple under the tree. Saturday is a double-header of cosmic horror and space western. Watch LIVE or LATER. Patrons can watch live ad-free on Patreon! #ttrpg #actualplay
God I love a bad movie acted with, written by, and produced by people with passion. This is a bad movie and I can still see the love.
Time to see what the fuss is about. Love the design choices from cover to layout. Now I will see what I think of the words
Showing yet another Firefly virgin the way. Maybe my 9th rewatch? It’s clear Kaylee played by @jewelstaite.bsky.social may be one of my favorite fictions characters of all time. Good words perfectly delivered. Layers. Love them all.
Please meet Oscar "Buffalo" Veers. He is a mechanical genius. If it broke, he can fix it. If it ain't broke, he can break it. From colonist to a wrench-for-hire within the syndicates. He needed to align with a crew that was focused on opposing the Hegemonic Alliance. It helps they had a Firedrake.
Please meet Talia “Odds” Vey. She is from the core worlds where she held multiple doctorates in gravitational science and astrophysics. The academic life was not thrilling. Piloting is. When she isn’t calculating the odds at the card table, she flies a Firedrake for a crew defying the Hegemony.
Saturday is a double feature. Pure cosmic horror, followed by space-opera fun! Watch now or later.
The village is gone. Closing the door on Spring 2026 Camping for Gamers.
Alice is Missing always works. The perfect last game for this season’s Camping for Gamers.
Compile returns again. A 4-trip streak. Rare a game is beloved enough to get back to the site and see multiple plays. A great 2p game with elegant rules. It’s Land, Air, and Sea all grown up.
I got to play One Missed Call by @chobbs.bsky.social and @thehintguy.bsky.social at Camping for Gamers. This ranks high on my 2p RPG list. Mechanically simple while supporting the goal of play. It explores the words we say and the emotions we leave unspoken when trying to make long-distance work.
Last night, at Camping for Gamers, I ran City of Mist for the first time. I love the premise and setting. I like its mechanics but you can tell Otherscape and Legends of the Mist are improvements
Dogfight is another hit emerging from Camping for Gamers
My current favorite game by @jmstar.bsky.social hits the table at Camping for Gamers. You need to get this game, friends. bullypulpitgames.com/products/zhe...
Guess what we do at Camping for Gamers! Day 3 and many games played already.
A game of Icarus by @spenserstarke.bsky.social breaks out at Camping for Gamers. A western town with gold-flaked ground water and mysterious murders is building a monument.
High Tide by @marcelineleiman.bsky.social hits the table at Camping for Gamers. As expected - big hit.
Pick Me is the first RPG to hit the table for Camping for Gamers
