And then, finally, rounding out the Section 6 case file: "Morning in Coalridge", a piece of fiction by the brilliant Sarah Terman. Next time: onwards to the Palace Dossier, all things espionage and politics.
But the chapter continues! Here we have amazing art by the amazing @carlydraws.bsky.social alongside a new faction by the superb Matt Fisher.
Continuing on to the ticking timebomb THE CHARTERHALL BREACH, by power duo @rossignol.bsky.social and @marshdavies.bsky.social
And finally for today's preview: PROJECT GREYSCALE, by the wonderful @austinwalker.bsky.social. It's so good. NEXT TIME: The second half of the Section 6 Case File. More paranormal oddities.
WHAT'S MORE, this is followed by a work of fiction by the outstanding @yrgirlkv.leafside.studio
THEN: A demon playbook?? Yes, a demon playbook, by none other than Blades-virtuoso @navidrake.bsky.social
What's next? A work of fiction titled SPA DAY, by the incomparable @notquitereal.bsky.social. Does this story simply document the harmless activity of spa-enjoying? I couldn't possibly say.
Moving on to the Section 6 Case File, starting with HAUNTING ECHOES by none other than the great @temporalhiccup.bsky.social. A series of paranormal complications, consequences, events, and rumours.
And that's about it! I like the Bear, I like food and restaurants, I like the Paragon system. Check it out 🙏
There's also some tables of nonsense at the back so you can run this in the middle of an on-going campaign; fantasy bullshit, sci-fi bullshit, and Blades '68 bullshit (!).
It's a Paragon game (AGON, Deathmatch Island, etc). You play against the clock (two 1 hour timers, in real time), dealing with your own bullshit and various clusterfucks and trying to complete service at the same time.
Here's EVERY SECOND COUNTS, a chef game, by me. Get it free here: olddoggames.itch.io/every-second...
And last but not least, rounding out the Inspector's Report we have amazing artwork by @mattebat.bsky.social, followed by a new faction by the incomparable @avalynramsaygames.bsky.social. Psychic communist rats you say???
Followed by BLACK GLOVES & RAZORS, an extraordinary ticking timebomb by the extraordinary @calumgrace.bsky.social
And then: THE HITLIST, by the great @madpierrot.design. Four legendary targets waiting to be taken out.
The first chapter is an Inspector's Report into recent activity in Doskvol's criminal underworld, from quasi-legal blood sports to strange political agitation. Here we have the Plazskullers crew, by BitD/FitD luminary @acoupleofdrakes.bsky.social
The collection of stretch goal material for Blades '68 grew so large that it has exploded from the Palace Dossier into THE BLUE FILES. It's almost 60 pieces, from an amazing array of contributors.
A magazine so good I accidentally pre-ordered it twice and I'm not even bothered. Now, no matter whether I'm in the office or sitting on the couch, I always have a copy near to hand 🙏 Don't miss the latest @wyrdscience.bsky.social !
The interface on the terminal is based on the greatest UI ever designed, in a 1982 issue of Omni magazine. Has everything you need: 1. Condition of body (normal or abnormal) 2. Colour of lip 3. Diameter of pupil 4. Drug
The final 24 hours for the Blades '68 campaign! To celebrate, a couple of new pieces:
TWO: I do have a sort of self-insert character illustration, it's this fellow here driving a stolen getaway car off the cover with the Blades logo on the front and money flying out the back (please don't read into this).
To celebrate entering the final 48 hours, a couple of small easter eggs. ONE: The XP checkboxes are little pills. Xantara Pharm has a pill logo with its initials in there... Makes you think.
