And there's the 10% chance of rain. I think the 10% was the chance the rain had of not evaporating on the way down because I heard one small, dessicated thunderclap, but as far as I can tell, not a drop of water made it to earth.
It's so flamingly gross out. We're good, tho. The three of us are chilling on the couch under the ceiling fan. Well, two of us. One of us is zonked out on muscle relaxers because he got the zoomies and tweaked a leg when he took a corner too fast in the kitchen and went down hard on the tile floor.
And it was a blast! We also got t-shirts and a commemorative poster that's framed on our wall. (Sorry for pic quality; I'm across the room under an 80 lb malinois).

And as per project tradition, I picked up a couple nifty new tools on Friday (with my Harbor Freight coupons) to help with the project. 😁

Two arms a spine and the beginnings of a torso! Would've made more progress if I hadn't assembled the left arm's elbow backwards, and thus needed to dissassemble the whole arm, reassemble *correctly*, and then repair what broke during that process. 🥲
Now that the right arm, shoulder, and plasma rifle are finished, calling it a day.
Another 2 hours later and I now have one whole leg! This is gonna take a few days. 😬
The difficulty scale was not kidding around. 2½ hours in and I have the left thigh done. 😬
And the '90s REBIRTH OF MOTHRA trilogy dropped today on Netflix, so there's my model-building entertainment sorted.
