A block of 70s style inline lettering of the kind that could have been the signage for a disco or on a JC Penney’s shopping bag you remember from when you were a child. Parallel lines and concentric circles. It’s in various swaths of muted colors across the spectrum of hues and values. The whole block has a white 3D drop shadow going up and left at 45 degrees. It has flecks of the same colors in the lettering but is predominantly white. All of it however is quite grunged and decayed looking like it’s been eroding off a wall for 50 years. The background is a mass of more multicolor paint splatters but much darker than the lettering. The lettering, in case you had wondered by now, reads ‘Maybe it will happen today’.

A digitially drawn and rather disrespectful parody of the risible, kitschy but still weirdly famous painting by Archibald Willard called 'Spirit of '76'. In this version, as in the original, three figures are marching across uneven ground with smoke and haze rising in the background as if in the aftermath of a military action. Our three subjects, who are all skeletons btw, are marching in line. On the right wearing a blue 18th century military jacket with goldish trim, the shredded remains of kneepants, and with a bloodied bandage around his bare cranium is a skeleton playing a humerus like it's a fife. To his right is another skeleton this one wearing a kind of vest and a tattered white shirt (no pants!) and whispy remnants of white hair cling to his skull. He has three human skulls hung by a strap around his neck and sitting waist level that he's playing with more arm bones for drum sticks. And to his right is the skeleton of a youn boy in another blue military uniform with a tricorner hat. He has an actual drum but again he is playing it with bones and also the left side of his face, head and shoulder are quite on fire as looks a bit pleadingly to the older skeleton next to him. Rising behind the marchers through the smoke an tumult is the kind of American flag with a ring of 13 stars in the blue field, and two of the red stripes have been modified into rough lettering that reads 'Maybe it will happen today'. A corner of that flag might be a little on fire too.

A dumpy looking guy slouched in a cruddy green armchair. He's got an open can of beer in one hand and the index finger of the other hand is dangling two more beers by the plastic ring holder. Oh and I shoudl mention that the guy is an anthropomorphic pink unicorn. (Humicorn?) Human body, unicorn head, but all pink, with a silvery gray mane, and a yellowish twisted and curved horn. He's got a very grim look on his face, as if observing something he'd much rather not be, with a cigarette clamped in his gritted teeth. He's wearing a yellowed and worn tank top, striped gray boxer shorts and gray plastic slides. There's an open bag of chips of some sort next to the chair. And sitting next to his head on the back of the chair is a gray cat with a similar dark expression as well as a similar unicorn horn. Behind, against a mottled skyish background, a rainbow arcs between two little fluffy clouds and arcing along with the rainbow is white, rough, lettering reading 'Maybe it will happen today'.

liquid-filled. Bulbous and kind of floppy. Don’t be gross. Its interior is shaded blue. Its outline is several nested outlines in a color spectrum from pink to purple to a couple orange shades to a couple green shades. The outermost outline color is also shooting rays of the same color off itself to the edges of the frame. It has two bulb-like heads on longish necks that are sort of wrapped around each other. One is sporting antler-like extensions, and the other has four curved horn-like prongs but all made of the same inflated material. Also It has two little wings, one on each shoulder, flippery arms with four digits each, duck-like flappy feet, and a long curling tail with three rings around the end of it. Inside whatever is filling this thing up are human bones. Skulls and loose vertebrae floating in the heads and necks, a rib cage and pelvis, vestigial disconnected arm and digit bones in the hands and feet. Between the two flippery hands is a wrapped present, in red and white striped paper with an orange bow. Next to each head is a word bubble, like really an actual bubble with a tail, inflated and dimensional, and inside are floating letters that between the two of them read ‘Maybe it will happen today’.

He’s seen from a dramatic forced perspective looking up from the feet against a spacey background with stars and nebular gas. He’s in the middle of one of his main moves which is where he slams his lion face fists together and draws them apart creating a glowing arc of energy that is going to form his giant multi-pronged sword that he uses to cleave whatever he’s fighting in twain.
