Tom Begich for Alaska
@tombegichforalaska
Lifelong Alaskan, public servant, small business owner, and musician. Listening to Alaskans and getting results. Candidate for Governor of Alaska.
We had a great time at WEIO—catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and watching great events. It was especially nice to be here with my wife, Sarah, and my running mate, Julia. If you’re in Fairbanks, don’t miss WEIO happening through Saturday at the Carlson Center!
Team Tom had a great time at the Bear Paw Festival Parade in Eagle River this past weekend! It was great to meet so many Alaskans and feel the energy behind our campaign. The momentum is building as we head toward August, and we're just getting started.
Record-setting vetoes won't lower costs, strengthen our schools, or move Alaska forward. Alaskans deserve a governor who can work with people they disagree with and deliver results, not more dysfunction. Read about Dunleavy's new veto record here: https://qrco.de/bgvLrb

Had a great time in Talkeetna! It was wonderful catching up with my old friend Steve, walking around town, and stopping by Mountain High Pizza to visit the mayor, Wendall. We also toured the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar and saw the incredible work supporting the arts in small-town Alaska.
"As Minority Leader in the Senate, Tom knew how to listen, he knew how to lead, and he knew how to get things done. Those are the skills we need now to secure our future. He'll fight for a fair share of our resources, better schools, and a fair shake for regular Alaskans. Thats just who he is."
It was great meeting with the Alaska Trucking Association today. We discussed Alaska's fiscal future, Dalton Highway repairs, North Slope energy, and the industries that keep freight moving. Thanks for the thoughtful conversation.
People are starting to take notice of what's happening in Alaska. After years of the status quo, Alaskans are showing they're ready for a new direction, one that puts working people first and tackles the challenges we've ignored for too long. Check out the full article at the link in bio.
Julia and I had a great time at the annual Mat-Su Democrats Picnic. Rain or shine, the Valley showed up. It was great meeting Alaskans and candidates committed to serving their communities. Together, we're building a future made in Alaska.

Team Tom had a great time at the Bear Paw Festival Parade in Eagle River today! It was wonderful to walk alongside Julia, meet hardworking Alaskans, and hear from families who are doing everything they can to build a better future. That's who we're fighting for.
Imagine an Alaska where our kids can build a future, raise a family, and stay in the communities that shaped them. That's the future I'm fighting for: thriving businesses, families getting ahead, and a self-reliant state. A future made in Alaska.
It was an honor to attend the NAACP Anchorage ACT-SO celebration and congratulate the program on receiving the Seattle Seahawks' Impacting 50 Communities Grant. It was also great to welcome the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks to Alaska to inspire the next generation of leaders and scholars.
Happy Alaska Flag Day! Today we celebrate the flag created by a young Alaskan, Benny Benson. His design reminds us of the strength, resilience, and promise of our state. Together, let's build a future worthy of the flag we proudly call our own.
"I was very impressed with Tom Begich's willingness to effectively work across the aisle when he represented our district in the state Senate. I trust Tom to always put the interest of the people ahead of other interests. He is a man of honor." - Jane Angvik
🚨 NEW POLL OUT TODAY: We’re WINNING! With 40 days left, we’re: ✅ Up 5 points over the next closest candidate. ✅ Leading every poll so far. ✅ Winning the ranked choice general. Alaskans agree, Tom and Julia are the right choice to build a future made in Alaska.
Alaska’s wealth should build Alaska’s future. Let’s invest in our schools, healthcare, clean energy, infrastructure, and local businesses so every community has the opportunity to thrive. It’s time to put Alaskans first and build a future made in Alaska.
Housing shouldn't be this expensive. Great visiting Alaska Precast Solutions in Nikiski. To lower housing costs, we need to build more homes by opening land, cutting delays, and using Alaska materials made by Alaska workers. Let's build more of Alaska here at home.
Alaska can't keep waiting. As Governor, I'll repair aging infrastructure, strengthen the Alaska Marine Highway, and create a capital projects fund to fix problems before they become emergencies. That's how we build a more self-reliant Alaska.
Government works best when people trust it. My Lieutenant Governor and I will protect transparent and accountable government, defend fair elections, and stand up for the institutions that keep our democracy strong. Public service should always be about serving Alaskans—not political extremes.
Happy Fourth of July, Alaska! From Nenana to Juneau, Team Tom was proud to celebrate with communities across our state. As we mark America’s 250th birthday, we’re reminded that Alaska’s future is worth fighting for. Let’s keep moving forward together this August.
Today, America celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The promise of our country is that we keep expanding freedom, opportunity, and justice for everyone. Let's keep building an Alaska where every family can thrive. Happy Fourth of July!
Thank you, Fairbanks! Before heading to Nenana, Julia and I stopped by Alaskaland, joined the Mutt March, and had a great time visiting with IBEW members at their picnic. It was wonderful to spend the day with so many Alaskans and hear what matters most to them.
"Alaska needs a visionary leader. Not only is Tom a coalition builder, who navigates the wild world of partisan politics with kindness and steadfast resolve, but he has an actionable plan that will maximize the potential of Alaska and its citizens to meet this moment." - Löki Tobin
Our democracy belongs to the people. Not special interests. We must protect access to the ballot box and ensure the government remains responsive to Alaskans.
I had a great time at Korean Friendship Day this past weekend in Anchorage. It was great to get meet so many energetic Alaskans and draw the raffle. Thank you to everyone who showed us around!
Democracy isn't something we inherit; it's something we protect. Every generation has a responsibility to strengthen it for the next.
Fairbanks! Thank you for showing up on a ☀️ night to share brews and bikes with Tom and Julia! Cycling towards the primary on August 18th! Vote for a Future Made in Alaska. #vote #fairbanks #futuremadeinalaska
