I take photos of people (amongst other things) #Nottingham
This is a Manifesto of Fascism Every word of this speech, delivered by a senior Government official to a room full of foreign Government officials, is a justification for genocide. Read the words I've clipped, and watch the video if you can stomach it. youtu.be/-P8__c6z14w?...
Nottingham MP Alex Norris has been appointed as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice. Given the number of local people arrested for holding signs, I suspect his constituency office and local appearances will become targets for protests.
Just out of curiosity I searched Twitter for "Ian Huntley painful" and the results were predictable and immediate. It took me a minute to find multiple tweets wishing him a painful death, some while he was still alive. The police are going to be very busy ...
This is going to be "interesting". Terrorism laws are so vague that owning an A-to-Z can be terrorism. Plus it gives the police a lot of powers for the investigation. So it is hard not to be suspicious, especially as this will benefit Farage and an increasingly authoritarian Labour government.
This is appalling reporting by the BBC. * Anaemic? UK growth is better than most EU nations * High tax burden? Decidedly average or below average compared to G7 & EU * Spiralling? Average or below average compared to EU This is not facts-based journalism. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Seeing a bunch of stories about sky-rocketing memory prices but all of them miss an important bit of context. How do today's prices compare to historical costs? It turns out we are back to early 2010 prices. How many other things do you buy which are at 2010 prices?

Tossing War Criminals I'm covering the protest outside the University of Nottingham hockey club where the Ultimate Frisbee World Club Championship is taking place. Teams from around the world are playing including Israel whose team includes three IDF soldiers. 1/3
As someone with this map of Napoleon's march on Moscow on the wall, my answer is ... Because you are interested in history, propaganda or how information is communicated. But as it is an unremarkable graphic and or bit of history, the most likely answer is that you are a flag waving racist.
Tommy Robinson is freely posting open incitements for violence on Twitter including a horrific tweet calling for the hanging of Pakistanis. The source of the image? The mass execution of Poles in WW2 by the SS. Meanwhile the government is banning 15 year olds from Twitter in case they get sad.
So let me get this straight - Two people who deliberately targeted the Prime Minister with serious, life threatening crimes in pursuit of a political agenda, isn't treated as terrorism... ... But smashing a few drones is?
I'm not dissing Abigail who does great work but ... This illustrates that non-ai techniques have a massive environmental impact on their own right. Which including flying people around the world, the hardware needed for post production and the massive data centres used by Netflix to stream it.
Dog Whistle or Stupidity? Tiktok showed me an advert for a 'christen single night' and something about it raised a red flag. Looking at their feed, I saw this. Dog Whistle? It's an anti-lgbt church but also has predominantly non-anglo-saxon congregation, so I'm confused.
Photos from Sunday's protest on trans-rights in Nottingham, organised by @againsttransphobia.bsky.social tregenza.com/notts-agains...
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks" You know how all those anti-LGBT evangelical preachers who get caught with rent-boys? Anyway, here's one of the far-right filming a trans-rights protest while playing pocket billiards. [Photo: 07/06/2026, "Nottingham Against Transphobia" protest]
A bunch of flag waving thugs have been arrested thanks to the numerous "auditors" who stream the crimes all over the net. Now those thugs are turning on the auditors.
Will they have a left wing commentator talking about how police routinely use violence against left wing protesters but ignore the behaviour of right wing protesters?
As Farage blathers on about two-tier policing, I'm watching footage from last night and I find myself agreeing with him. The police were clearly using less force against a gang of racist violent offenders than I've seen them use against non-violent, leftwing protesters.
I'm physically attacked at a protest about once a year. Threats are just routine. Yet when I raised concerns to Notts Police about a protest which their own officers described as dangerous for journalists, their press liaison officer denied any problems. www.google.com/amp/s/www.no...

Reasons I Hate Modern Software ... I've just wasted numerous hours trying to solve a configuration file problem only to find out the app doesn't support sub-directories or symbolic links. Christ, these are features which have existed since ... forever, and are not exactly a rare or obscure.
Wait what! You can't blockade something you don't control and even if you could, the whole fucking point is to keep them open. I know, I know, you can't play chess with a pigeon but even by his standards...
