A simple WIP to show what I'm up to. Current idea is to practice drawing different expressions: this one is 'surprise'. I've enjoyed getting practice with neck and shoulders, and the beast that is Yvonne's hair. Four more expressions to go.

Progress so far. I am so good at drawing hair. The best in fact. Anyway, this is Jean, the central protagonist of the graphic novel idea I said I'd be working on. She's a Red Deer.
With HRT consistency is important, same dose, same time, everyday. One thing that's helped is to phrase it like I need food instead of a chore that needs doing. Builds anticipation.
This is going to be as much news to you as it is to me, I haven't really given myself time to think on this stuff.
Not winning any friends with deer furries as it looks more like a camel, but decided to finally use a sketchbook to attempt drawing regularly in. Could've spent more time making measurements, was more worried about the ears not fitting in than the length of snout, so its a third longer than needed.
I think of art as trying to start a fire with flint and steel, to make it a habit is going to take more than a single strike. So you can't expect consistency nor results from the first. That said, enjoy deer Yvonne as I've screwed up the proportions that I'll fix up later.

Broadband has been down for three days in the run up to a second assignment this week. Disabled Student Support requires evidence from me that I need to be on the buzzer at 9AM to submit an admin query to a clinic, and I've yet to attend a meeting about if I have a path forward in this course.
