so belgium reworked its age rating system for tv, adding two new age categories (everyone, 6 and up) as well as pictograms for content warnings it's a good initiative but uh, why is the pictogram for discrimination specifically depicting a *white* stick figure as the one discriminated against? 🫩

belgium's new age rating pictograms, styled as text, numerals, or symbols inside a white circle. they're shown arranged in two columns:

column 1 displays all the age ratings: "AL/TOUS" (everyone), "6", "10", "12", "16", and "18".

en gros il faut définir un nouveau moteur de recherche dans les paramètres et ajouter "udm=14" dans l'URL de Google, ça force un mode "résultats web uniquement", normalement ensuite on peut en faire le moteur par défaut dans la barre d'adresses voilà à quoi ça ressemblait pour moi sur Edge

managed to get very basic collision going for that playdate game - uses the built-in AABB system for the bulk of collisions, then runs pixel-by-pixel checks when necessary still gotta add stuff like bouncing, walk controls and whatnot though...

yet another attempt at getting my worms-like game for #playdate off the ground... this time i'll try to leverage the built-in AABB collision system. when that detects a collision, then i can do more precise pixel-based detection. so i worked on finding a way to update the AABBs when erasing holes

oh that's very kind of you to offer! i already had a similar system in place to generate the terrain, perlin noise used as a base for dual-grid tilemap to get something decently fast that still looks organic :D (i wanna make this for playdate, though it would look very cool in 3d, admittedly...)

how is that misleading or false when the thread you're linking confirms they indeed have merged PRs with AI disclosures, which are thus AI-assisted or contain LLM-generated code?

i think their current stance is deeply flawed and bordering on hypocritical. you can't "discourage" the use of AI to contribute and request that its output respects copyright, while allowing a core maintainer to use a mainstream model like Copilot, no matter how much he downplays his usage of it.
