I worked on the revamp when I was suffering from a major, debilitating OCD relapse, and that's an integral part of the OC story, I feel. I'd like to think of it too as a love letter to every media that my younger self loved and raved over as a kiddo. The characters are very near and dear to me 😭

one of the big changes is that when I first made him in middle school-ish he was straight up a blonde anime boy LMAO. but now, like most of my OCs he's very proudly Filipino, hehe. my sketchbooks from that time are in balikbayan storage boxes so here's the earliest I have on him atm vs now.
