noticed i could also split up the colors for more of a riso look, which is fun!
my queen's POV when i think i'm checkmating, not seeing the bishop that's 1000000000 feet away.
still enjoy using it, especially helvetica neue and the light variants. def easy to have a design feel colder, but I think with good hierarchy and kerning it’s usually solid.
i've been messing with the '3d materials' tab and having layers right over my usual art so there's some more texture, which could be something!
design i did last autumn for illexotic's ep, that i'm still a fan of!
also hi new follows, welcome aboard! reminder that along with design commissions: i've experimented with typeface design for personal and commercial use! creative market: creativemarket.com/wendyleftmea... gumroad: wendymurphyonline.gumroad.com etc: linktr.ee/wendymurphyo...
besides the type and some texture most of this was done thru illustrator - using a combination of the 'roughen' and 'zig-zag' effects to get a low-poly look without throwing anchor points down, and exporting at 480p with just 8ish colors allowed thru. then resampling thru photoshop.
new work! • cover art for MalLabel's next compilation "Requiem for the Simulation", out june 5th.
20ish years later and i finally got around to beating this stupid and unfair expert mode.
