FHWA’s Proven Safety Countermeasures website continues to say that there are "28 countermeasures and strategies effective in reducing roadway fatalities & serious injuries"... but they now only list 23. MIA are the following 5 related to Speed Management, Bicyclists, & Road Diets...

I like so much of Harry Campbell’s work as #TheRideshareGuy, but I'd personally have a hard time getting into an Uber/Lyft if the driver was using Tesla’s so-called Full Self-Driving... And I have an even harder time seeing people treat Tesla’s 7X safety claims as anything close to fact.

#6: That leads right into the fact that the audiobook entirely skips over my footnotes My footnotes are not references I'm usually giving some additional context (e.g., the "accident" vs. "crash" thing) or providing some bonus nonsense (e.g., that "Homer's Enemy" is my favorite Simpsons episode)
This also helped explain why some people were asking me why I use the word "accident" instead of "crash" so often... The answer is that I only used the word "accident" when quoting somebody who also used that word—which I explain in a footnote
It's been almost 2 years since the book came out Since then, I've gotten a lot of feedback on the audiobook version But I never had much to say about it—other than this cover feeling like cheap knock-off of the real cover—because I had never listened myself I finally did & have a few thoughts...
Per usual, they focus more on how a crash like this impacts traffic than lives...

Despite the over-focus on people driving, they do have a walk-up window and some outdoor patio seating - which could be nice if you enjoy eating in the middle of a moat of idling traffic
As of today in Denver - Out with the Lime & in with the Veo... There will still be standing e-scooters but more seated ones too (which seem to be more stable and, combined with the bigger wheels, could end up being safer)
