This mornings transect showed a shift in butterflies- just a 11 Marbled White but over 70 Six-spot burnet moths. Nice to see a fresh Small Copper & Brown Argus as well as 10 Common Blue. Fewer Small Skippers than the previous week too. Low numbers & very dry habitat. @ukbms.bsky.social
I keep checking my garden in the hope that the White-letter Hairstreak that I was so surprised to find last year would be back 🤞🦋😬 no luck yet!
