Do you know a creatively inclined teenager who would love to learn more about writing? There are a few spots left at the WGA's annual summer creative writing camp, WordsWorth! Week Two takes place from July 26 to 31, 2026 for campers aged 15-19.

WGA folks, we are only weeks away from our Casino Fundraiser! Like many of our friends and community partners, the WGA needs only a few more volunteers to take on a shift with each one bringing in nearly $1500 of funding. Casino Volunteers will receive free meals and snacks and WGA membership.

Grande Prairie, we are excited to offer this free workshop with Regional Writer-in-Residence David van Belle. What better time to bust out of that writers' block than a July afternoon at the library? This workshop is FREE but registration is appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome!
