Before the Voting Rights Act, millions of American, especially Black voters across the South, were systematically denied their fundamental right to vote through literacy tests, poll taxes, intimidation, and violence.
Over the past several weeks, young leaders from across the country came together to sharpen their skills, share ideas, and invest in the future of our movement. A heartfelt thank you to every presenter and participant who generously shared their time, expertise, and experiences.

On this day in 1964, the Civil Rights Act was signed into law, a landmark victory born from the courage, sacrifice, and relentless organizing of the Civil Rights Movement. Today, we celebrate the progress we have made and recommit ourselves to the work that still lies ahead.
Mental health is health, yet far too many Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color continue to face barriers to care; from stigma and cultural misconceptions to language barriers, discrimination, and a lack of accessible, affordable resources.
