Today's haul from my local indie bookstore: Black Bear by Trina Moyles and Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton. We also went to Market Ribbon in Coquitlam to get some EfnBe mochi melonpans.

I got the most wonderful mail from the DWAA. The Maxwell Medallion is weighty and engraved on the other side with my name and book title. The little Maxwell pin is so cute! Plus I got a certificate for Best Book Award, and finalist certifcates for the podcast. So honoured and grateful!

My book, Bark! The Science of Helping Your Anxious, Fearful, or Reactive Dog is on a table along with a certificate from the Dog Writers Association of America 2025 Annual Writing Competition showing that Bark! is the winner in the category of best books on behaviour, training, or sports. Next to the book is the Maxwell Medallion, a weighty medallion on a red, white, and blue ribbon. There's a dog's head with a quill to write with, and it says Maxwell under the dog, and Dog Writers Association of America above. Beneath that is a little Maxwell pin. This is just part of the package I received -- amazing!
