Reading a truly wonderful book by @billmckibben.bsky.social. Well-written, nostalgic, and reflects my childhood and the wrong road we (the USA) have taken over the last 40 years. No issue…a map can show a better goal and direction!!!

Our cat melted today. #albanyny 90+ degrees. No A/c….yet. Yup, eventually we’re going to add burden to the grid and cause more GHG emissions, to try to be comfortable in a world changed by excessive #GHG #emissions. Sigh.
The city of Albany, NY has a Tulip dig after the Tulip festival (previously the pinkster fest) the week after tulips are in full bloom. It is an awesome activation of the city park, and a great way to support the City governing of parks!!

Horrific. This drunk war monger preaches that the USA was built according to god’s plan and all sorts of other crap. We are becoming a nation of religious extremists, slamming anyone who is not spouting “christian” ideals that align with “god given right to bear arms” and other white nationalist bs.
How is it that people can post things like this?! I mean - Are they paying any attention to gas prices, world status, violence in the streets, voting access, unemployment rates, retirement savings, food costs….
Just saw this on LinkedIn. Posted by an older, conservative to far right, white man who served in the military. I admire his service, but abhor his continued contempt for anyone not like him. My answer to this is very different than what his would be. For both parts, the answer is the 1%.

This is the warped crap I keep seeing on LinkedIn. This perceived truth is way off my perceived truth… So I need to check my truth, but before doing that, I feel fairly confident this perception below is a bit wrong….
I keep seeing these AI-from-musk pitches promoted all over LinkedIn. Who would trust this guy!? He came in as the DOGE savior (total bullshit) and stole trillions from actually useful agencies, shut down needed services, and illegally obtained information on millions of taxpayers. Jail him! Shit.
