Every element comes together for a grand finale in the hook. Even a small background vox sample is chopped and panned left and right to add movement and detail. CHAOTIC SIREN scratch SFX makes the track scream and really pushes it to the limit of being able to balance everything! This is the peak.

Bass, drums and vocals together! After MIYACHI performed over the track, I could go back and add the small drum edits to dance along to what his vocals are doing! I like making a “base” track for vocalists to write/record to, then add all the production touches when I get it back to play off of them

Three different sounds are used for the bass line as the song evolves and gets more intense. From short hits to a longer, rounder shape. I hadn’t done this before, but I really like it. It subtly changes the “air” of the track with the different rumbles. Think I'll keep this one in the back pocket.

Even small melodic elements have life and variation. This Clavinet has an overdrive effect with a fast frequency sweep to make it “growl” (see little dancing shapes at the bottom). And it plays completely different roles in different sections! Later, it’s a low rhythm element.
