Leveled up my Genesis system the other night. Much faster loading than my old ever drive clone. and CD games, to boot! 😉 Also, I just cannot recommend the RetroTink devices highly enough. This system looks fucking gorgeous thru the RT5x
And you must have, because a few sneaky Commodore tapes have been commingling with my Speccy tapes. Sinful!
Capturing some video from the STe last night for a project. This is a big part of why I bother keeping old hardware around and running. It feels good to be able to contribute to a project in some small way for folks who don't have easy access to vintage machines.
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains
A very Happy Birthday to the world's number one Spectrum fan, @commodoreblog.bsky.social ! 🎉🎉
Trying to decide if I should sell off the Atari XEGS as well as the 400. It's such a weird system that I'm inclined to keep it even though the chances of me actually using it are kinda small
How do you have it connected to a display? The color signal comes out of the GTIA on its own pin and gets mixed into the LUMA signal. There's also a color adjustment pot on the CPU card that can fail.
Cleaning a rescue this afternoon. I love cleaning up old computers - it's so satisfying!
No bigscreen for me this weekend so I'm stealing some time on the bigscreen at work
Listening to kinda-bad versions of PC mods over Bluetooth on my Amiga tonite because I can.
I've cleaned it since so it looks a bit better. Green keys show some fading. Will DM
Film you’ve seen more than six times. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel. Pretty much every other weekend growing up as a kid movies.disney.com/the-cat-from...
You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you? I got lucky. Well... except that I'll probably be kidnapped on Earth. At least a couple of them can come rescue me
Emu gave me a turbo wedgie!! I mean.... my @futurewas8bit.bsky.social Penultimate +3dcr with DOS WEDGE has arrived!
The PC has a 66-mhz upgrade in it, as well as a PicoGUS and a Sound Blaster (Vibra) 16. and... I think 48MB of RAM. It's on-board VGA is quite slow but it ran quite a few demos admirably
