In case you needed an update on how it went after the gifted children's program in the 80s....

I put the plastic filtered water pitcher lid on backwards facing the same side as the handle. Now, I can pour water over myself instead of into the intended cup.

The current blackbird is a decendant of another exhausted blackbird I found tangled in a banksia bush 8 years ago. I carefully extracted him and held him while I snipped the twine constricting around his ankle and toes. He flew away and lived out his birdy life.🐦‍⬛
