I saw this last night at the Royal Exchange, Manchester and I thought it was brilliant. It’s funny and really moving, with some amazing performances-a wonderfully human show. I don’t recommend much but I highly recommend this! Only on for 10 more days.
Been a Fall morning, really. Went to Radcliffe to drop off some artwork from the Futures & Pasts Exhibition, then to Bury, then drove through Prestwich on the way back past the Forester’s and the Red Lion. Now for a slice of Wimberry pie and a brew.
And if you’re into The Fall, which I believe some of you are, then boy have I got some specialist cards for you (may be too specialist) www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch or www.8bitnorthxstitch.com
Lots of Manc music cards at www.8bitnorthxstitch.com or www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch
More Manc cards at with www.8bitnorthxstitch.com or www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch I can’t stop!

A small, but perfectly formed, post out from www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch today: Bowie, Bananarama, The Cure and The Fall. What a buffet.
There’s still some limited edition Fall cards at www.8bitnorthxstitch.com (Cruiser’s Creek, Victoria, & 50,000 Fall Fans) if you’re that way inclined.
That’s because @heykidsshop.bsky.social is on honeymoon! And bookmarks aren’t actually a real thing of his, but he may choose to do them. I used a spare MES from a gorgeous garland he sells…
More important than any Hall of Fame, Ian Wright has now formally been accepted into my bedroom shrine (joining Frank and Little Frank, the Golden Buddha from Nara, enlightened monkey and the wives of striking miners from the Rhondda.)
Today’s post out from www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch inc. Bowie, Kylie, The Fall, Sparks, dinnerladies, Monkees, Nick Cave, and Manchester music parts 1 & 2.
I need to return to my first love- British comedy cards. Here’s some that are currently on sale at www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch The Young Ones, dinnerladies, Garth Marenghi, Alma’s Not Normal, Ghosts and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
I also like designing band eras. Here’s a few: Wham! Pet Shop Boys, Pulp & Kraftwerk. Cards at www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch
Most recently I designed Manchester (and its environs). Frank Sidebottom ✔️MES’s Pringle jumper ✔️Inspiral Carpets’ Joe Bloggs jeans✔️James T-shirts✔️Rowetta’s whip ✔️Take That in bondage✔️Jane Weaver’s bird boxes✔️Noel Gallagher’s monobrow✔️cards at www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch
Then I did Liverpool. Primary motive was getting Lily Savage, the Liver Birds and Margi Clarke on, (I also have a Letter to Brezhnev card). Cards at www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch
The next music city card I did was Sheffield. I mainly did it so I could put Marti Caine on and Reginald Dixon and his impressive organ. Cards at www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch
I like doing musical collectives of cities/countries, which started with bonny Scotland. I didn’t have a photo of Memorial Device, but they had to go on. Cards at www.etsy.com/shop/8bitnorthxstitch
Looking at what to do next. Finishing some uncompleted designs then I’m going to do a Folk Art/Weird series, starting off with our favourite interplanetary clown, Sam from the Isle of Wight, who I think about more than I should.
