We Only Want the Earth is a yearly programme of awards, exhibitions, and events that seeks to interrogate the goals and strategies of social change: what kind of society do we want and how should we get there? WOWTE is supported by @artscouncilireland.bsky.social 2020 - 2026

The awards are open to visual artists from four priority communities: - Artists who are transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming, - Artists who are from racially or ethnically minoritised backgrounds including members of the Traveller Community

As this liquid travels, it bathes and permeates the soil, flowing around, through, and between various vampiric bodies, each in a varying state of preservation, transformation, or euphoria.
UNDERGROUND is open today from 2pm until 7pm!! The film is visually led by a viscous green liquid, the source of infection, regeneration, and preservation amongst an ecosystem of underground vampires.
UNDERGROUND is open today until 6pm!! Paying homage to Drag as a resilient political power, the exhibition features a performative film set within soil; the living, renewing, connective tissue, humanised and tenderised by processes of decay.
UNDERGROUND is open until 7pm today! UNDERGROUND is a recognition and celebration of existence beneath the surface. Informed by Irish Vampiric Mythologies, this exhibition entangles underground cultures, Queer infrastructures, and the quiet, regenerating presence of the vampire.

Kat Lalor is a Queer visual artist, generating a practice of worldbuilding through moving-image, performance and writing. They invoke their practice to interrogate constructed binary categories which limit the possibilities of Queer intelligibility.

Studying Fine Art Sculpture at the University of the Arts London and holding an M.Phil in the History of Art and Architecture from Trinity College Dublin, her practice in recent years has focused on socially engaged art.
