OMG, spent so many hours staring at this as a kid.

Out of this entire title bar, there is a single 16 pixel-ish area that I can click on to drag the window position. Everything else is an annoying clickable item I really don't care about. Please stop polluting the caption area of windows with crap so I can move the damn window where I want.

Heh, just finished up and rather enjoyed the two seasons of Kleo, an amusing German late-80s/early-90s spy/assassin thriller with lots of dark humor a bit of the supernatural mixed in (on Netflix). Totally up my alley. Also, as a big fan of mosaics, love this image they use in the intro.

Decided to upgrade to Visual Studio 2026. Seems to still compile my code ok. I mostly use the IDE for debugging and was hoping they'd have fixed the fact that the properties page doesn't respect dark mode after 4 years, but based on my seared eyeballs apparently not. 😞

LOL did that 9games.com thing and honestly you can tell I haven't done much gaming in the last, oh, say 30 years. 😜

Ha, finally found evidence of what bands were on the lineup of the Live 105 Green Christmas Ball 1996. My only regret is that we got there late and missed Fiona Apple's set.

A TV show you love with 3 seasons or less. (I consider the two live action attempts to be separate entities, each with their own charms.)

First cassette I ever bought, from the local drugstore when I was 7 or 8. Played it on my mono cassette player endlessly, then joined the Columbia record club to start growing my collection. Fell prey to Styx denigrators for many years but have since come back around to appreciate their awesomeness.

Reminds me of this one, which I tried (and was definitely too much). But I can't stand sours to begin with, so definitely a bridge too far!

Decided to listen to my random singles collection today. Sadly most are MP3s from Amazon, but it's pretty fascinating cross-section of music I grew up on plus music from the 90s-00s when I moved to the Bay Area plus a smattering of random newer stuff that caught my fancy.

Actually it doesn't! Which is great, honestly, because I already have it on the Strangelove single. While there is a bit of overlap between these collections and the singles, there are quite a lot of new remixes I hadn't heard before. (Collections are 3 CDs each but I renumbered them into one list.)

Tank Girl was another solid soundtrack featuring a fascinating cross-section of mid-90s alternative bands. (Though I honestly can't stand the "Girl U Want" version on here because it's excruciatingly slow.)

Revisiting some old soundtracks and damn I had forgotten just how loaded The Crow soundtrack was with industrial/metal heavyweights. Granted, not all original for the soundtrack, but several were (Burn, Dark Souls, Golgatha at least).

Just noticed the OCR on one of my postcards interpreted M.I.T. as M.L.T., LOL.
