Also we clearly need bigger shelters/ more seating options at our highest ridership bus stops
I pray these scooters were not deployed like this by someone working for Bird. This is right where people get on and off the bus 🤦♂️
It’s probably hard to tell from the video but the holes are small enough that they wouldn’t catch even the skinniest of bike tires I don’t think. See below a close up of a grate. Also pictured is a true hazard of the Church Street bike lane these days.
Build the downtown bike lanes. Personal vehicles just don’t fit downtown, not to mention the safety risks they impose.
This is ridiculous. Shame on NDOT for getting rid of the loading zone on the way down Demonbruen hill. I watched two Lime bike riders get forced into traffic because of this.
People that block parking protected bike lanes when said parking is completely empty are a special breed
East side commuters beware! The Davidson bike lane near the ped bridge is currently a waterslide
Bad wreck at Church & 16th Ave N, an intersection I just reported to Hub as needing a traffic light and crosswalks. It feels dangerous even as a driver but the biggest issue is that peds cross here often because of the hotel. Church St Complete Street redesign when @nashvilledot.bsky.social?
Saw one of the most ridiculous bike lane blockages yesterday evening on Church #notinmybikelane
I love when sidewalks near major transit hubs that are also maybe greenways are fully blocked with no warning or suitable detour or crossing all for events that cater to mostly non residents.
This might be the most hazardous dockless device parking spot I’ve ever seen
Fantastic daylighting of our freshly raised and painted crosswalk. Great work everybody!
Wouldn’t be my morning commute without the Church St bike lane looking like this 😍 And I’m pretty sure NDOT JUST replaced some of these flex posts per a Hub request I submitted 😵💫 If you ask me those big cubes on the sidewalk would be better off protecting the bike lane…
Was really excited to take WeGo to the airport for the first time ever but the Transit app did not inform me of the James Robertson to Rosa Parks detour. I watched my bus go by sadly while I was redownloading the Lyft app :(
Yeah that’s it. Widen the sidewalks! Driving a tank to do some boutique shopping. Be for real.
Check out these desire paths along 12 South. If we’re not going to pedestrian the street the least we could do is get rid of a few parking spaces and widen the sidewalks. Hell maybe we could even add in some benches too 👀. I could barely walk without bumping shoulders with someone just now.
