This is my main submission for the exhibition my studio is hosting. This is called “You Cannot Bloom Beneath Clouds”. It’s meant to be a visual on coming out, so I hope I did it.
Preview of one of my exhibition pieces. This was before it was bisque fired. It is currently waiting to go into the glaze kiln.
Tried my hand at a decorative-ish tile. For some reason I used a reference that was not flat so things look a bit off.
Post a photo from 2019. After 6 years together and 2 years engaged we finally got married.
I decided to see if I could use glaze like acrylic to create that abstract flow look and I really like the early results. Here are some plates I made.
Ive been busy in the studio. Here is a small sampling of some items I call Body Shots. A collection of torsos that are the right sizes for smaller beverages.
The baby gorilla was really showing off for the crowd that day. Enjoy a small clip.
Went to Disney for a couple days. Had an oops picture while waiting in line for Rise of the Resistance and the husband had a great caption for this.
I haven’t really loved all that our studio glazes have to offer but I found one combo I’m in love with.
I also finally finished the husbands Christmas gift. He lost a toe, but I’m thrilled with how he turned out. (He is an incense burner)
Never really showed off this one properly. Still figuring out how I want to glaze it but definitely one of my favorites.
Another WIP. This one is a planter, that drains out the penis. I am a bit nervous this will crack in its first firing. Also pictured is another torso that came out of the kiln today
This is some of what I have been working on. I still need to glaze these but have to wait on a few tests. All hand made bisque pottery. This is only the beginning
