I'm not the best at watercolors, but I'm learning. I've also explored this theme in posca markers, too. The heat is really scary for me. I haven't been sleeping well and I'm very behind on my work. I'm sad about this, but it can't change. #art #animalart #furryart #watercolor #acrylic
We've had 3-4 weeks of nonstop, brutal heat here in France. You open up everything at night to cool the house down, then shutter everything up with reflective foil taped over the windows to attempt to keep it cool during the day. The heat lurks outside, slowly digging its way in. #art #fantasyart

We used some MDF board for some home improvements and had a bunch left over, so I painted a primer on one side to paint on and added a hook and my stamp on the backs. Super fun to work with these random shapes from leftover cuts.

I get really deep into my despairing thoughts when every movement each limb of your body makes through the air around you has to cut through a sticky heat that clings to your skin like an inescapable cage, drying out your nostrils as your lip beads with sweat.

In better news, my new lino stamp ink doesn't bleed when applying watercolor, so that opens up a lot more creative ideas for me! I've painted my lino stamps before, but the ink would bleed a lot, so I had to be careful when doing so and had to cover up a lot of mistakes. #art #wip #lino #watercolor
