Area 4 has been defeated. BY ME. I made it to the Technodrome fight but I was too busy dying to take a screenshot. Still, PRETTY DAMN GOOD. The Analogue Pocket remains a good piece of kit for doing stupid things like playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES.

You won't believe it but I did this again

Donatello saying OK! after defusing the final bomb in the water level of TMNT for the NES. Technically I did it as Leonardo this time but it was on my Analogue Pocket and I'm not pulling screenshots off that right now okay I'm supposed to be working.

This has somehow become the only game I'm playing.

This is the third time I've beaten the level today for some reason I keep booting this fucking thing up and playing it. Part of falling down a hole playing way too many TMNT games is that I spotted this little reference and felt smart about it.

The actual real reason Persona 4 is my favorite of these three is because it was the first one I ever encountered based primarily on the fact my buddy Goj (RIP) never shut up about it, but this post pretty accurately nails some of its appeal to me, a dude who grew up in Ohio, specifically.

Perfect Hatred is still the most righteous motherfucker of a map, good fucking lord. I whacked on invulnerability for a hot second just to get the 100 health and I still got my ass kicked. Game gave me this achievement though, which cannot be right (but I won't say no to it).

Grabbed a different summary image becasue then you can see how little time I spent playing my "top" games. I mean, 7% is as high as we got! I knew I was fuckin' scatterbrained but I didn't know I was THIS scatterbrained.

The same steam summary as the previous picture, except this one you can see my number 4 game was Elden Ring and my number 5 was Silent Hill 2. Which means they accounted for 5% (like Street Fighter 6 and Helldivers 2) and 4% of my play time respectively. The largest chunk was 7% of my play time being spent on Persona 5 Royal, for whatever that's worth.

I feel like 98 games is a sign that I am incapable of focusing on any one thing, but if you dig deeper into this thing you can see that I finished multiple games this year, honest!

My steam replay overview. 98 games played, top three games in terms of time were apparently Persona 5 Royal, Helldivers 2, and Street Fighter 6. I play way too many games, like, 98 is just too fuckin' many.

Tumblr ads are on a different level

An ad offering training in proper use of breathing protection apparatuses. Specifically offering certifications in DGUV Rule 112-190. The ad image is a giant gas mask of the type used by firefighters in hazardous environments. Which are probably any environment a firefighter would go into, now that I think of it.

Plus the VMU is so fuckin' cool, there's an angry little Claire face on it when you pull up your inventory and when you are running around it shows your health! That's so fucking neat!
