I was very fortunate a couple weeks ago to score a SPACE:1999 diecast & plastic 10-inch Eagle. 😍 This one originally sold for $250+. I got it for $20, but no box or stand, two landing gear are broken off, and one of those has gone missing. So now to recast a new one from the remaining loose example.
The #Morgantown Regional #Battletech Club had our Alpha Strike League season awards last night! I won "Best Painted" for the series, with a snazzy trophy a great book & minis. Our amazing CGL rep even had challenge coins made. It's good to be back in this hobby. 🙂
I LOVE the Viper. I'm curious what the metal one looks like. I'm pretty happy with my resin one.
This is how they were packaged in Lance boxes. I don't know if they were individually blister-carded.
I will soon learn what #Mothman tastes like... #WestVirginia #Cryptid fun!
#Battletech last night in the new gaming space at Four Horsemen in Morgantown, WV! Davion vs Kurita in a damed river valley!
Some vintage Unseen #Battletech treasures by #RalPartha, from my personal archive.
A #Battletech player in Germany had this kooky thing among minis he was selling, and I totally flipped for it! With the help of someone in my group who was visiting Germany, it's now in my hands! 😁 It'll get some shading to pop the details. But I'm not undoing this beautiful madness! #RalPartha
An esoteric segment of my classic #Battletech collection: uncommon, fragile blue resin "Partha Plastic" editions of the 2nd edition Unseens. I've been fortunate to find these. Two were painted and based, so I had to carefully strip them. The blue is eye-catching, showing off the sculpts. #RalPartha
My worst #Battletech Alpha Strike League loss of the season tonight. I think I achieved last place! Here's my team, including 5 newly-painted minis, including the Soldiers of #Sanrio. They did their best, even if their force commander is a total loser.
I paint my own #Battletech minis. But sometimes when I obtain pre-owned #RalPartha "Unseen", one will have such a charming, caring paint job that I'll keep it out of respect for the previous owner's work.. Like this striking, wasp-colored Unseen edition Wasp. :-)

I'm a #MercyRabbit (Mercy Usagi) fan. He's done amazing #Zoids and #Mospeada work. This is an uncommon trading figure designed by him, from a set called "Pale Cocoon". I thought it looked like an Acroyear gal from #Microman, which is another property he's worked in.
That looks beautiful. All shiny like a robot should be! I did something similar with another Battletech mini.
Test shot of the Palisades Toys edition of the #Micronauts #Acroyear. A personal treasure in my collection.
This place is sadly lacking #Micronauts! So here are some of the bizarre post-Mego "Fantastic World Of Interchangeables", which used #Mego Micronaut molds.
I finally added the Inter-Changeables Series 2 C.I.R.E.S. to my #Micronauts collection. What an absolute train-wreck. The plastic is equivalent to the cheapest dollar-bin transformer knockoff I've ever owned. But it's very pretty in these colors, which is my main reason for finally owning one.
#theresnoevidencesir needs to be the new hashtag for #trump bullshit. #meetthepress
Strong storms and a tornado in the region today brought some beautiful cloud formations this evening.
This must be a custom Longbow or Crossbow for the TCI model kit series from 2nd edition #Battletech. Nichimo never made a 1/200 Destroid Phalanx. Not sure where the rocket pods came from. The rest are Takara-Nitto 1/144 Blockhead & Bigfoot parts. (Wolverine & Battlemaster.) Maker unknown.
I was fortunate to acquire two more #RalPartha #Battletech "Unseen" minis in the rare, blue "Partha Plastic." These were the last use of the venerable 1980s molds, shot in resin rather than metal. Often they're hiding under messy paint, as this one was, requiring delicate cleaning and re-assembly.
"This Old Battledroid" continues with some spray-paint on the Battleaxe revealing a little more structural finishing needed, and an appearance by a possible next candidate: the very first Battlemaster sculpt, in 2 & a half ounces of LEAD. #Battletech #RalPartha
