Our two would love a frog, Hutch in particular. Here she is on frogwatch this morning up by the pond in fact. But the frogs are remarkably fast and Hutch does not like water...

Hutch, a grey cat looks into the camera in a disgruntled manner. The greenery behind her conceals a pond and many frogs. She is on frogwatch and the photographer has been rude enough to disturb her.

A garden pond, verdant with life. There is pondside marjoram in the foreground, irises to the left and in the background as well as marsh marigold, water mint, and one of the spearworts, I forget which. The water's surface is largely occluded by lily leaves and there is a single beautiful water lily flower, white with a hint of pale pink, nestled amongst them. Concealed in the undergrowth are many stealthy frogs (not pictured).

My #sourdough game is coming on nicely. This is a white flour loaf with a dark rye sourdough starter, baked in a ceramic cloche to help with the rise and the crust development.
