No one ever talks about Robert De Niro’s turn as Frankenstein’s monster anymore.
I really don’t care if people come to their own conclusions. But the notion that “any normal person” would think this weird jagged line is a naturally occurring shadow on an old man’s neck is bizarre. It doesn’t look natural to me at all. If that makes me abnormal, fine.
They’re here! Almost a full month ahead of when I first spotted them last year.
This is the best comp I can make. I have no idea what today’s tickets cost, but it doesn’t seem like tomorrow’s tickets are super elevated.
I was going to make a joke about Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Walt Whitman hooking up (sounding her barbaric yawp, maybe), decided to research if they were even alive at the same time only to discover her husband HATED Whitman. Now I’m scandalized wondering if Walt got proper Browning after all.
Just finished: season 2, episode 8 of Paradise Hulu cues up: season 2, episode 9 of Lost. I assume this is either a Kate episode or a Milton one.
(pretending I’m QTing someone else’s response to this prompt) What’s your favorite comic no one ever talks about?
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.
"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults—Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe-living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.
Vividly remember watching this on A Different World and realizing the image I had been fed of Jesse Jackson was a complete distortion and degradation. Personally, I think we grossly exaggerate the importance of every vote, but he communicated the opposite very powerfully. This is how it’s done.
Jesse Jackson was many things to many people, but to me the man was an orator without peer. You’re going to think this is a joke, but it’s not. His performance of Green Eggs and Ham was a masterclass in oral interpretation. The choices. The delivery. The rhythm without becoming sing-song. Genius.
Tater tot rationing time. $7.50 for six meals worth of tots ain’t that bad in my extremely proud opinion.
And to show my opposition to fascism, I blocked this person.

My personal favorite iterations were the Michael Chang tennis pumps. Persuaded my dad in one of his weaker moments to buy them for me and they held up extremely well.
