Earthquake today, eclipse Monday, and these guys just showed up to deliver my Amazon package -- should I be concerned?
It's still wild to me that this is a real feature, out there in the kinematics of stars in the Milky Way, showing that our theory of orbital dynamics works on the scales of galaxies as it does for things in the solar system. Also that the Milky Way got slapped (rude)
