Dear LinkedIn: I haven’t encountered these problems, but thanks for the heads up.
paulkrugman.substack.com/p/the-case-a... Thank you, @pkrugman.bsky.social. Taxing the super-rich works for deficit reduction too.
The winning campaigns of multiple Dems who want to tax the rich apparently are beneath the notice of NYT. www.nytimes.com/2026/08/19/b...
His incompetence (Sean Duffy and megalomaniacal unregulated construction projects) nearly killed him, which would only have added to the toll from the same cause.

Decatur, Georgia, is a hotbed of Dem voting and anti-Tesla protests. Here’s how these socialists watch soccer. Lots more here: www.decaturish.com/news/decatur...
I keep getting served this ad in @motherjones.com piece on possible evangelical defections from Trump.
Presented by NY Times without pointing out that no Democrat has talked about raising taxes on small businesses or anyone except the rich. (Biden said $400,000 a year, and since it’s all about the very rich.) www.nytimes.com/2026/02/24/u...

I am not a sophisticated tech bro crypto investor. Is it bad when @pkrugman.bsky.social’s latest post starts with this?
The three top stories on this morning’s @nytimes.com newsletter. As the kids don’t say these days, I can’t even.
I’m old enough to remember useful news conferences, but just barely. @jonathanlarsen.bsky.social is on target:
At least the correspondents dinner would be fun again. From @jefftiedrich.bsky.social
Lovely thought in Becky Chambers’ “A Psalm for the Wild-Built.” (Dex is a human wrestling with whether his life matters. Mosscap is a robot.)
Thank you, New York Times, for chastising the three Democrats somewhere who I guess think all tariffs are bad.
A day late to this. A lot of newsrooms should pin it to cubicle walls. open.substack.com/pub/thefucki...

Literal play-by-play. Why not, “That’s a nice fastball from the Russian asset, Biff.”
Ever wonder if NYT is just trolling us? What Do Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Birds Mean? As he seeks to lead the health department, Mr. Kennedy wore a thin tie dotted with feathered creatures to cap a classic suit.
Unedited view of my timeline. Question followed by answer.
Without downloading any new pics, what's your energy going into 2025?
About 10 years ago, Georgia Southern University’s auxiliary services (bookstore, dining, etc) were mostly refusing to buy student newspaper/mag ads because a Solo cup appeared in a photo. You implied someone drank beer! Now, a school logo appears on Bud Light cans. Guess why.
Given how little Americans seem to understand about our own democracy, is this a responsible headline? Yes, it’s accurate in terms of parliamentary politics. But Germany still has a government. A lot of people who see or hear this language won’t get that. They won’t research, either.
Nice shoutout to The Current (investigative outlet based in Savannah) in DOJ’s filing.
“Some voters,” indeed. At the top of NYT homepage. I don’t know what else can be said about the awful political coverage at an otherwise great and indispensable institution.
