It's really neat that I get to be one of the weirdos who lives in your phone. Here to post about scifi, TTRPGs, politics, civics and other nerd shit. On a quest to be Buffalo's OK-ist swordsman.
My wife's short form video feed gives her recipes she sends my way. The Internet is still good for this much, at least.
I'm not sure how to get most of #4x3 #fourbythree 's achievos, but this one was easy.
My brain wants how well I do at the daily puzzles first thing to be an augury of how my day is going to go. I CANNOT allow this, I am to bad at these. Anyways, perfect score on today's #4x3 #fourbythree
Who the fuck made a fucking hover stool?! That shit's just unsafe, and solved by perfectly reasonable, dramatically cheaper ladder technology. I'm telling space OSHA.
The long slow pan of the Enterprise is absolutely beautiful. They got that part right.
Look at this shit. They did a solid job of imagining a nice, bright utopian future! Actually using mass transit!
Well, center of today's #4x3 #fourbythree was certainly inevitable.
My one claim to Internet fame: Got in the first month and JUST under 50k users. I'm a nobody, but some good posters think I'm cool to hang out with.
Watching Perfect Crown and holy crap did their fashion designers make a good business robe. I wish I could pull that shit off.
Not awful, not bad. Running that ragged edge between success and failure for today's #4x3 #fourbythree
Well, I managed to get today's #4x3 #fourbythree, so either I'm getting better at this, or today's a good day. Or both!
Easy #fourbythree board today! Solved it in like ten seconds, lol.
I continue to be horrible at @hankgreen.bsky.social 's #fourbythree , but I also appreciate it. Managing to solve one made me feel a little better about today!
Trying to get in the habit of posting my score in @hankgreen.bsky.social 's #fourbythree on here. I am bad at it, but it's cute! And bonus points for not giving money to the NY Times!
New profile pic, courtesy of @mookiebean.bsky.social ! Pinning the old one here for a bit so folks have a reminder of who the hell they followed.
Continuing my #StarTrek rewatch with TAS S01E14, The Slaver Weapon! Unsurprisingly, one of the better ones, since they just went and hired Larry Niven. "Ha ha, the space pirates didn't think it through and died" is a weird ending, though.
Continuing my #StarTrek rewatch with TAS S01E13, The Ambergris Element! A three part story! Overcoming mistrust with diplomacy, then saving the day to pay back that trust! Simple, straightforward, and not that weird! For the standards of this series, not that bad!
Continuing my #StarTrek rewatch with TAS S01E12, The Time Trap! The Enterprise is forced to work with their rivals to escape a pocket dimension! One would think the Klingons would choose to make their explosives go off AFTER they escape, but apparently not!
Continuing my #StarTrek rewatch with TAS S01E11, The Terratin Incident! A cute adventure story, where the folks in need of rescue used a weapon to get attention...AND THEN REFUSING TO BACK DOWN DESPITE BEGGING FOR HELP?! Space colonists, not exactly the sanest.
