"unhinged ramblings as you blow up into something beyond what is possible" two parter based on a dream :3 or a nightmare... it was one of the two.
Star Trek: Voyager Vibed. It took me 10 years to finish this show, mostly due to life hiccups and issues, but it's one of my favorite television shows today. I do think this shouldn't be as maligned as it is, and I like a lot of the Concepts it has.
Madame Webb Did not vibe. It's a fun watch with friends, and it's entertaining at times, but overall I just kind of feel this incredible sense of missed potential. It absolutely could have been better and should have been better.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Vibe, obviously. This is a pallet cleanser after two back-to-back existential films. It also feels different for some reason since I last saw it, I don't know what's changed in me. For some reason I like it just a bit more.
Godzilla -1.0 Vibed. Watching this after watching Oppenheimer is probably one of the most sobering experiences you can have with regards to nuclear power. The symbology is too hard to ignore, and it's message of Hope in the face of annihilation is very necessary.
Oppenheimer Vibed. I really enjoy the history of atomic weaponry and power, and I enjoy this movie because it upsets me. If you know anything about me, you know how passionate I am about this subject. We should have never built the atom bomb.
Star Trek: The Motion Picture Vibed, but I do not recommend watching this high. It will both break your brain and there are a couple scenes that will upset you. Otherwise it's a very good translation of Star Trek from television into film. It's gorgeous.
