"You don't have to live like a refugee" Tom Petty "yep that's why I'm over here now my dude" me
had to pause the movie for just a few to handle some things in the office and I have procured the proper soundtrack to assist me
Happy birthday to my dad Harrison Ford! I will of course celebrate by watching the greatest movie ever made, love ya pop
As a young idiot in my twenties I used to insist rather forcefully that Sam Neill gave a performance in IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS more than deserving of an Oscar nomination, if only the Academy would get their heads out of their asses. Today this older idiot thinks of that and smiles. (I was right.)
it remains what it always was: wild storytelling fantastic moviemaking ...phenomenal cinema, babies
Michael Schenker, of the band UFO "Well, I looked like Linda McCartney, as was the style at the time"
I refuse to entertain the popular wisdom that this movie is not good. Sure, the studio made kind of a mess of things but damn if this ain't full of some super cool shit! I dig it.
Wanted to do II & III together and this afternoon is just the time to do it. So we're kicking it off, y'all!
Hooting hollering clapping my hands at the madness and chaos on these suburban streets
Road Runner, you lost as fuck. You supposed to be in the desert tormenting coyotes of the wily variety, not the tree in front of my house.
Couple thoughts. One, if you grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons in the 70s 80s 90s, this is sort of the perfect way to spend a groovy Saturday morning as an adult. Two, the special effects look KILLER in 4K. (I may have said "well, that's fuckin' splendid" already, full disclosure.)
I am a grown ass man who can do whatever he wants to do but most importantly I'm the only one up so SUSPIRIA in 4K again it is
Here we are, 45 years later. America may not be *here* yet – but it ain't for lack of trying, lemme tell you. Some of us have been trying to tell the world most of our lives: John Carpenter always knows.
A remarkable supernatural kung fu fantasy flick that Tsui Hark dropped on an unsuspecting world back in 1983. There is SO MUCH awesome here. Imagine if the majority of BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA had taken place underground and you've got a rough idea of just how nuts this movie goes, fam! Let's do.
Later I'd learn what a nightmare it was for Dante to make it but the first time I saw LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION, I kinda wanted to cry. The original shorts were my favorite childhood cartoons; obviously, SPACE JAM broke my heart. *This* clearly loved & understood the Tunes. Also, it's hilarious.
It's so catchy. AND LOUD. BOB MADE SURE IT WAS REALLY FUCKING LOUD. So turn it up as loud as you dare, and let it all go for awhile.
