(Warning! Video has some flashing colors due to the nature of speedpaint style videos.) Wanted to test out Krita's record function. Not bad! Here's a process vid of me drawing Ralsei from Deltarune!
New Wysta Reference! Her design was hard to draw, and didn't communicate her abilities or personality well. Keeping the old ref since it might be fun to make it happen for story reasons.
I'm going to attempt to participate in Art Fight this year!! artfight.net/~ak-illustrate Admittedly I am super nervous. But I'm also always bummed out every year seeing everyone have fun and not joining in, so...! Let's give this a go!

Out of context Chimeran Legends time! Script writing addition! (Note: This may or may not actually make it into the final draft.)
And here! Is the final outcome! 🎉 This isn't the first time I have tried this, but this is definitely, in my opinion, my most successful attempt, and I absolutely want to use blender more in my illustration and comic workflow.
And here is the layers after I did a ton of paint over work. (Behold my crappy labeling system and totally intentional typos.)
COMBINED - Mostly used for reference. Fun to A-B with your final image. (Here is combined base and all of these cleanly stacked in a layer)
You see, while a lot of people use 3D models to trace over, I'm trying to go a little further and use rendered images as a base to then paint over. This is a common practice in concept art, and I think it could be very useful in comics and illustration as well. Here is the 3D model
had a bad day, so I am practicing and experimenting to distract myself.
