We did pottery painting for a work thing a while ago, and ceramic glaze continues to be amazing.
Hopefully this will help over the next few days. But also I should get an actual air filter soon.
Final count: $303 from me, $232,908.74 total! Hot damn, that’s so cool 💙💙 @romancingthevote.com
I was at a conference and have been to the southern part of Utah before, but never in SLC. It’s pretty cool! Would absolutely come back and explore more. Zion NP is my favorite park in the country, but honestly anything you can see of the southern Rockies is worth it. It’s so pretty.
Just looking at the Rockies and crying, like a normal person, because mom would have loved this view. Grief is so weird.
Going through potential donations for @romancingthevote.com auctions, and I completely forgot I made half of these things 😅
Big Ohio Book Con swag, including trinkets from other attendees (there are shiny rocks and a tiny turtle!)
🏳️🌈 A few years ago I did a “wear rainbow every day in June” challenge that raised $700 for the Trevor Project. I don’t think I have an official challenge in me this year, but we should all wear more rainbows this month, and also please donate to your favorite queer charity because they need cash. 🏳️🌈
I think I know what I’m submitting to our county fair - this is one of those pieces 🧶 @dyemadyarns.bsky.social moon club yarn and some @madelinetosh.bsky.social from 614 Knit Studio
I spent the weekend at the Horse Park and it was such a good use of my leftover bereavement leave. (Mom would have loved Jess Phoenix’s new ride.)
The light on this @peculiarityshop.bsky.social moonstone is absolutely incredible.
One of my favorite things about @scalzi.com events is how he doesn’t just answer questions, but uses them as a chance to tell stories we wouldn’t know to ask about.
A friend has one cat like this, and it’s SO NICE when I cat-sit since I don’t have a lot of experience pilling cats. Arthur tax included below
Just another voice going “WTF, I’m so sorry that happened.” He should at the very least be reprimanded and never do author events (or customer interactions) again.
