And just today, on LinkedIn, we spotted a fake image of Manuel Valls and François Bayrou enjoying cocktails – an apparent attempt to undermine their credibility during critical events in Mayotte.
In December, during our report on Meta’s involvement in the elections, we identified “media” outlets using generative AI to create false images of Elena Lasconi. Though not included in the final report, it underscored the scale of the challenge.
Just for RT in German we can count at least 32 different domain names (Spoiler alert: they are not all on the sanction list so totally reachable from within the EU)
Oh. When I say "a few other domain", we are talking about over 100 domains that leads to the different versions of RT in different languages
If you follow the traces of the Google Tags, the NS etc you will also very easily found the domain rteam[dot]dev which is sharing some indicators with a bunch of other RTs domain. But the most interesting part is that this domain is actually the main node for the entire RT operations.
Russia just launched a new "portal" .gw2ru[dot]com, also know as "russiaislove[dot]com" etc. As they are as usual very top notch on their OpSEC they actually host it on the same IP as the domain "navalny[dot]lol" (a very funny joke from 2022)
