Coincidentally, I just made a mini zine today about gulls... After many years of pondering and searching and research, I am convinced that my spirit animal is the herring gull!
Found him at the end of our road, probably hit by a car. He's in lovely condition. Will definitely be cropping up in some future work, whether written or drawn is yet to be decided.
Paper People was a brilliant event. Three days of online 'workshops' to slow down, engage, experience, enjoy - whatever you needed. Organised by Blue Siggy on Facebook. And all free! With free downloads from some tutorials. And I learned a new poetry style. Zuihitsu. 🖊️📘🖌️
