Trans Wonder Woman is such a badass inclusion and wonderful representation. While this specific instance is Nia Nal in Dream Girls # 1 (which has an explanation that I won’t spoil), I really wish we could have a mainline Wonder Woman series where she is Trans. And not just a special issue.

Text reads: Last September, Ríhanna Kelver was standing outside the Crowbar & Grill in Laramie, Wyoming, preparing to start her bartending shift, when she noticed a group of men across the street. One of them was shouting in her direction, and Kelver heard several homophobic and transphobic slurs as he began approaching her.
Moments later, according to court testimony and surveillance footage, the man shoved Kelver to the ground hard enough to injure her tailbone.
Kelver responded by drawing a pistol from her bag, chambering a round, and pointing the weapon at the man who had pushed her. She kept the safety on and never fired. The man and his companions retreated.
Today, Kelver, a 28-year-old trans woman, faces two felony charges-aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent—which could carry up to 15 years in prison. The man who shoved Kelver and who allegedly initiated the confrontation, known only as "S. Durham," has not been charged.

No instead I have to worry for my siblings across the world and at home who are losing access to basic human rights, are getting harassed, beaten, and in too many cases, murdered.

As of March 1st, Ireland is collapsing its healthcare for Trans people. Here, they shut down its waiting list despite thousands of people still needing care. Instead of implementing an informed consent model that would relieve this pressure. Congrats on becoming more like the English, Ireland

On that recent European Parliament vote that included recognition of trans women as women. It’s a good step forward and can hopefully lead to meaningful changes. Even if this is non-binding and was to set their priorities as they enter negotiations at the UN Commission on the status of women

Reminder: you can be a fascist while being queer.

Ersnt Rohm, an openly cis gay man, was a prominent Nazi who was instrumental in the rise of the party and you-know-who.

Today, we have Buck Angel, Blair White, Brandi Nitti, Richard Grenell, Nick Fuentes (allegedly, but very likely), as a few examples of mostly white Queer people openly supporting/enabling/working with fascists.

Some Queer people think they’ll benefit as “the good ones” but ultimately will be sacrificed by their own side.

CLARIFICATION AND CORRECTION: While yes Rowling is in the files, there are a lot of assumptions I am making based on circumstantial evidence. And I have to correct that the ex-prince who visited the set of the series did so without a clear indication of an invite.

This also means that a mere mention of someone can spiral into more than what it is. So with some of the files being public, I would say be careful of making definitive statements until it can be vetted in some way.

The problem that we’ll often find while going through the files is that rich powerful people tend to communicate through assistants or third parties.
Making it hard to draw definitive conclusions about anyone.

This includes horrible people like Rowling. Right now her connections are mostly circumstantial. Though she has associated herself in some way with other (alleged and convicted) abusers like ex-prince Andrew, Greg Ellis, Depp, and Nicola Murray

While most of them are just casual mentions, there are two specific relevant ones: Rowling’s team personally invited Epstein after he requested to come see the premiere of the Harry Potter play including a special dinner invitiation in between the two shows.

In some great news, anti-trans hate-group S*xMatters lost twice today in their efforts to exclude and hurt Trans and Queer people. They lost in the UK when the Hight Court blocked their challenge to Hamstead Ponds’ trans inclusion. And the Council of Europe voted to ban “conversion therapy”
