Finished up this Lamenter finally, spent most of stream just toning down the chipping effects and adding slight highlights, as well as more detail on the face.
WELP! Adding another traditional oil painter to the 'Fuck off' list. Seriously stupid take, he brings weird 'connections' the philosophies of Socrates, about 'improving the quality of life'. Get fucked bud. Sad to have watched this guy rise up in his painting and YouTube career to defending slop.
Beautiful sunset just now. My area was actually under a Tornado watch for a few hours.
Like many countless fans, I am saddened to hear of the passing of John Blanche. Perhaps one of the greatest influences to the tone and feel of Warhammer but also to the dark but whimsical nature of 'Grimdark' vibe. The man knew how to make cherubs terrifying yet incredibly silly.
This is a the coolest and absolutely most terrifying depiction of The Emperor I've ever seen. In a lot of the snap shots of his 'true' version on the Golden Throne, it looks like he's looking right at the viewer, a horrifying breaking of the Fourth Wall.
Finally finished up this commission for @lrdr.bsky.social for their OC! Took a longer time cause I was trying out a different style and as usually pushing myself as far as I can go!

Worked on another oil painting test in Clip Studio Paint this time for about five and half hours of work. Definitely feeling this may be a style shift! Was fun to work on while streaming! I'm super proud of this, need to start talking more confidently and positively of my own work.
Started another piece to try and test out some technique/style and just play around.

So today for my 'Special Project', I'm gonna be diving into zBrush to start up a bust sculpt of Allen the Alien from Invincible! Haven't 3d sculpted in a while so this should be fun with lots of cussing, saying 'how the heck do I do that', and watching tutorials. Come hang at 1pm EST!
Progress on Captain Tycho He's been my favorite character since I got into 40k. Want to do a series covering his life not just his time on Armageddon. Did ya know he fought the Silent King with Dante? And he worked with Tor Garadon, Captain Lysander and Cato Sicarius against the Iron Warriors?
