Reminds me of these competing plaques in front of the same Bernard Maybeck designed house in my neighborhood lolol
We have all manner of little free libraries around town here too, most of which I have now seen on my quest to walk every block in Berkeley this year. There is one with CDs and VHS tapes and others with puzzles, cookbooks, art. They are all so fun.
We’re talking about the Biden/Harris Admin. It’s remarkable what they accomplished with the slimmest of Congressional margins. If you want an LBJ Great Society stretch of legislation, you need to give Democrats LBJ like majorities. That means a big tent that includes moderates in purple places.
It’s not a court of law. He can have due process when he’s being criminally charged. The man is a walking red flag and has obviously been terrible since the get go. We told y’all almost a year ago he was a fraud and a jerk (and obviously worse).
He literally kicked off his campaign this way! These people are shameless.
Pardon us if we're not taking advice from whatever this is as to what is/is not "horrible to women."
This is why. Seems like one demographic that can’t figure it out, and it’s not the base of the Democratic Party.
KRON showing the Marin County Fair because the Golden Gate Bridge is so socked in lmao
Our old friend @karlthefog.bsky.social came to visit as usual this July 4th, so we’re watching fireworks at home on the TV
That’s insane. Unofficial fireworks pretty strongly discouraged here bc of fire risk (but of course there will be some). Alas, I think we’ll get the typical July fog on Saturday and not be able to see the official ones (unless you are very up close)
Black voters' uncles vote for Democrats. Sounds like you've got a lot of work to do on yours.
It’s always odd to get these when they are quite far away! Would we feel something from Mendocino here? Takes me a split second to decide if I need to react or not here.
Fun! Are you using an app to track? My 2026 goal is to walk every unique block in Berkeley (which is very doable! SF is intimidatingly big). I’m using Strava which then syncs to Wandrer — I’ve got about 17% more still to go. I’m having the best time with it.
I want to believe this isn’t an actual person, but if I’ve learned nothing else over the past decade, it’s that a lot of people are really, really not smart.
