As tumultuous as the last year has been, creating My Internet Friends has been a bright spot for me. It's been my dream to work on this sort of sprawling sandbox-type story that could sustain new stories and arcs indefinitely. I love these characters and I hope that others will too.
We definitely don't have the budget or bandwidth to attempt a weekly release schedule, but I still wanted to emulate the feeling of those weekly series that I love, so every Sunday we post a page of My Internet Life, a supplementary 4Koma series depicting the characters' slice-of-life moments.
With My Internet Friends, that was the feeling that I wanted to replicate. I wanted to build a setting and cast that could be part of readers' lives for at least a little while. One year in, I think 8 chapters and 200+ story pages is pretty impressive for a scrappy little indie series.
Tomorrow is the first anniversary of MY INTERNET FRIENDS, the ongoing manga by me and Dr. Mo!ri. Here's a reflection on the creative journey that I've been on for the past year. Please give it a read!

I've really been loving the recent Zatanna comics. She's such a fun character, and the creative paneling of her stories really highlight the unique possibilities of the medium. I'm also biased because Zatanna helps me get my fix of bunny covers!

I hope more people check out Nezha 2 now that it's available on HBO Max (only the dub, but hopefully the original audio will be added eventually). It's my favorite movie from last year, and the greatest cinematic spectacle I've ever seen.
It's been about a year since Dr. Mouri and I started working on My Internet Friends. Making a manga like this is my dream and every comment we get makes me happy. Chapter 6 is on the way, and I want to keep this series going for as long as I can!
