There has been ups and downs in our xG and xGA. But as the trendline shows, our xG and xGA have both fallen slowly across the season. However the xG Trendline isn't falling as much as the xGA is This is good. We're adapting to the league positively. #LUFC
Premier League since November 30th(Post Man City) Our xG difference(xGD) puts us 10th, actual points 8th. The teams we're up against in the relegation fight. West Ham 18th, Forest 15th, Spurs 14th, Palace 8th per xGD. Looking good #LUFC
Temu Declan Rice? I think not. #LUFC *No idea why Eli Junior Kroupi is here as this was just meant to be MF's
Competing for a lot of duels and winning a lot of them too. Bogle & Gudmundsson are not only impressive going forward but also at the other end too. #lufc *compared against Fullbacks in top 5 league's in one viz, and just in the PL in the other.
Would you look at that. Does that mean what I think it means? Our recruitment has actually been good? We have been saying, well done to all the Leeds recruitment team, all of them. Even that one guy! Viz courtesy of @theathletic.com

Should Leeds sign Jorgen Strand-Larsen seems to be the current question on the lips of #LUFC fans. There is a growing number saying no to this question and that the fee we are likely to pay - Circa £40mil. Is too much. We believe we should sign him. Thread 🧵
Bogle & Gudmundsson are doing so much fun stuff this season. The ASAW Flock ❤️ Dribbly Boiz. #LUFC *Fullbacks in Premier League compared for Dribbles p90 & Progressive Carries p90

Best I can do my friend. Some of them are really bunched up in the bottom right. Only one I couldn't get in was Preston who are pretty much exact same as Plymouth
Here's the updated Championship Style of Play chart for February. Apologies the first attempt had some logo's incorrect. Hopefully this one should be all good. Leeds still in the top right quadrant as they have been all season.
Just been doing some analysis of us on our discord which I thought I would share out. We miss 56% of our big chances. Which is actually believe it or not, the best % of all the other top 7 sides. Burnley currently 2nd worse at converting them, and worst for creating them.
This PPDA plays out to them having the most Final Third tackles attempted in the league. However they have the 5th least middle third tackles, which indicates to us that often teams bypass the middle of the pitch against them as their Def Third numbers are 9th highest which is not an outlier.
But this doesn't mean they are a passive low block side Luton have had the lowest PPDA(Passes per defensive action) in the league so far this season. This means they don't allow their opponent time on the ball and are aggressive in their press. Graphic via @fevsfootball.bsky.social
Some statistical points of note in prep for our upcoming game against Luton who are an interesting side THREAD 🧵 Luton are one of the more direct sides in the league, favouring longer passes more than most with 21% of their passes being played long.
Anyone who has recently discovered us and wants to know what we do differently to all the other Leeds United content creators. THREAD 🧵 Firstly we give a heavy focus to tactics and how they affect the game. Secondly, we incorporate statistics into our analysis.
Great start to the season for Brenden Aaronson. Been very active creating chances for his team and probably unlucky to only have assisted one goal thus far. #LUFC Credit to @potterlytics.bsky.social for the lovely app to make these from.
Yet another data set showing Leeds players in good areas. Especially Rodon & Struijk. Both players are progressing the ball a lot and with lots of distance. Best CB pairing in the league! Bogle & Firpo still looking good, quite close to the top right quadrant. #LUFC #LeedsUnited
