Managing social media for large publishers is hard, but hats off to @stv.news for limiting the comments on this post. The Facebook comments on posts from other publishers I've seen covering this story have been an utter bin fire of racism, islamophobia and hate. X is bad, Facebook is just as bad.
It's worth listening to this podcast in full. You can pretty much hear Tice's brain worms screaming in pain when he was asked how the Reform policy of hiking taxes on existing renewable energy installations would bring down bills and create jobs. It is also a great bit of climate journalism.

Am assuming this ship with most of a wind turbine (?) on it is the one that is, for some reason, blocking another ship that's quite important up north from leaving Leith docks.

I asked for the DPIA for the soon-to-launch mycare.scot app via #FOI. The new service is supposed to provide a "digital front door" to Scotland's health services, and it's due to launch in the next few weeks. It will be dealing with a lot of personal data. But the DPIA is still "in development" ...
Just dragged this humongous bit of fish farm pipe up the beach at Gairloch and reported it to the Salmon Scotland collection service. Let's see how many days it takes them to remove it...
Here is a photo of a mushroom I encountered yesterday in the Beinn Eighe nature reserve.
