Yours truly had a full crying jag during curtain call (TL,DR: I miss Japan). Totoro ga dausuki yo!
Since 2017 this lovely stand has been feeding us, at least once per trip. The conchinita pibil, in particular, is dynamite, and we got the last of it today.
Bougie outdoor brunch on a lovely Saturday. Work's been busy this past week, so it's nice to have two days off for the weekend.
Doors open on the left at Cumberland. Off to a very short hotel room night; glad I got in on a summer thunderstorm day. The lovely smells of Eau d'Delay on the C Concourse bring back memories.
The light never fails to delight. I had to cut this trip a little short and I won't be back for ten weeks, but Los Angeles is always magic.
No selfie; I'm a mess sprinting from Penn to EWR Terminal A with a major Amtrak/NJT outage almost screwing me. Seconds to spare, great UA gate agents told me I was OK; handed me a Polaris boarding pass. Amy and Emily singing again as I boarded. CLOSER TO FINE, indeed! Los Angeles, here I come.
Thank you as always, beloved beautiful Los Angeles. See you again in eight days! Let's get some Polaris zzzs across the country.
Celebrating the win in Hungary w dumplings, Xi'an spicy cumin lamb noodles, bubble tea.
First ever professional women's hockey game at MSG, and it's sold out; the energy is off the charts. GO SIRENS!!
