More! I scratchbuilt some ships, including one heavily based on the Sulaco from Aliens. Will count as a light cruiser, probably a Dauntless class? Great fun! I have a Nishika which is basically the same. Have stuff in the fore, middle and background so the parallax effect is obvious. Flash is useful as the apertures are quite small (f/11 and f/16 on the Nishika). Dev, scan, combine the four frames into an animated gif. Here's a quick example:
