I got so used to drawing pages with hard backgrounds and moody lighting while working on BoC chapter 6. After all that, drawing simple pages feels so weird. I have to constantly fight the urge to make things more complex. [ #boc-comic #webcomic ]

I'm so close to getting all the pages for the first BoC book done! Currently wrapping up line-art for the very last panels. Many epilogue spreads are still in the middle of coloring phase, but the flatting step is mostly done. It feels incredible to be so close! [ #boc-comic ]

Had not quite settled on the final key details here, but design is very close to it's final form.

His face is full of difficult shapes. He still sometimes gives me a headache figuring out how his ridiculous long nose works.

Using a core simple shape for all the characters really helped to push the designs to their final forms.
