Shoot! Looks like it's missing the Intellect devourer and half the rust monster >_< My fault for not checking the box before buying. Still, these sculpts are just horrible, charming little guys...
The only woman in leadership advocates for following proper procedure; gets ignored. Is the only one who still has her job at the end of the movie.
And the art style is just charming! Whimsical and just a little creepy. It reminds me of Raggedy Anne and Andy's Musical Adventure by way of Tartakovsky.
Name a TV show you’re positive no one remembers but you. The only people who remember Project GeeKeR are the people I have forced to watch it. Unfortunately, it's a Doug Tennapal project
If I won the lottery, I would say anything... But there would be signs.
Just had to get a letter from my therapist explaining that my PTSD is well-managed and that I am not dangerous before I can get unrelated medical treatment and god damn if this isn't my current mood.
Give me your favourite Non-Trek performance from a Star Trek actor: Need you ask? Marina Sirtis proved she had some of the greatest acting chops of anyone to serve on the Enterprise.
Leafing through the old May 1986 issue of Dragon magazine, and came across this article detailing how luxurious and beautiful are the beards of dwarf women.
Ms. Frizzle is actually the time-displaced, adult, post-transition version of Arnold Perlstein, who is using the vast, godlike power entrusted to her by the Timelords to give her neglected egg self a better childhood. I will not be taking questions at this time.
In 1999, I was playing a decker in Shadowrun, and tried to distract a guard by hacking a water fountain to overflow, and my GM said "why would a water fountain be on the network? That's fucking stupid. No you can't try." Well it's 2026 and I just want you to know, Phil, that I FUCKING CALLED IT!
I have been reminded that I have a steady paycheck and that bulk candy retail websites are a thing......
Ya’ll, I took the new train into Seattle, and met another trans girl who was also excited about the fact that we have the world’s first (technically second) train on a floating bridge and my wife called it the Trains Day of Visibility.
I FINALLY got to field Super Shredder without my opponent immediately countering or exiling him. He turned into a 9/9 in ONE turn and won me the game. It was so much fun watching my opponent do the mental math of what sacrificing food tokens to stay alive meant next round! #WOTCstaff
“Kietena, don’t take the fighter’s eyes!” “Kietena, don’t dissect the talking robot head!” When DOES Kietena get to take things out of heads?!
I don’t expect much from progressive men any more, but man was he a disappointment.
I’m a trans girl, which means I absolutely read this card title correctly the first time!
I watched these boxes for five minutes and these crackers didn’t do shit. “Entertaining crackers” my ass!
Are they good? No. But are they widely loved by the fandom? No. Ah, but is this a plot element that was reinvented by future iterations of the Turtles? Also no. But the toys are cool and the visual was fun, and it made for a delightful booster fun Easter egg for the ONE other fan who remembers.
The idea is that the Neutrinos (which in this continuity are tiny fairies) are guardians of mystical gems that store “mutation energy?” That Shredder wants to steal and abuse. The Turtles get involved with a very short quest to retrieve the stones and then there’s a sentai fight.
That’s right! TMNT had not one but two episodes made exclusively for the Japanese market by Tokyo TV to promote Takara’s line of Turtles action figures (which were eventually brought to the US). The episodes are Super Sentai/Power Rangers spoofs that toss out basically all established canon.
He’s a fusion of Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolfman, and a gillman—the classic Universal monsters—and he turns out to be way too strong for the Turtles. They only beat him because his Dracula element makes him vulnerable to sunlight.
I am counting down the top ten weirdest deep cuts in #mtgtmnt! We’re down to the most obscure, weirdest, most special guys in the set! 2) MONSTREX! Appearing only in a TMNT Adventures annual, Monstrex was created by Krang blasting the a TV with a “mutating ray” during a monster movie marathon
