🌱 @joyf.bsky.social @flutterbyflora.bsky.social @katefromcambs.bsky.social @annaherrington.bsky.social Here is the second of my seed started dahlias to bloom. Certainly not a "wow" flower, but I like her simplicity.
🌱 I love this sherberty four-o-clock that seeded itself in front of my house. It's a riot of color.
🌱 @joyf.bsky.social @flutterbyflora.bsky.social @katefromcambs.bsky.social Here is the first of the dahlia seedlings to bloom! Cute little thing. The other two plants have buds ready to open. 🤗
🌱 This will be my last week at my current job so made my beloved colleagues gifts of appreciation. They are the best team. 💚 Thank goodness I have a lot of succulents! 😂
🌱 This weekend's floral arrangement. Really like this color palate, but it was challenging to photograph.🤷🏻♀️
🌱 Nothing pleases me more than growing heirloom tomatoes from around the world for my local rodents. Really.🐿🐀
🌱 The 'Black Knight' scabiosa I started from seed are beginning to bloom. These are new to me and so fun.
🌱 Dahlia 'Lights Out' has returned. 🤗 The dahlias I started from seed are beginning to set buds. Cannot wait to see what they look like.
So sorry dear Sabine you're having such a rough time. Unrelenting heat is so debilitating. Sending you some good So Cal vibes.
🌱 This week's arrangement challenge was to find the white flowers in the garden.
Thank you! This is the big one. Blooms last for one night and then they're gone.
Right! What did that poor coleus ever do to them? Although I will say the way they eat the sunflower leaves is kind of fascinating.
🌱 Sorry, not a great photo but this adorable skipper was really enjoying the new scabiosa.
🌱 This crew is ready to head outside. 🤞🏼 these give us armloads of cut flowers this summer and the lettuce doesn't bolt. 👩🏻🌾
🌱 Sharing for #FlowersOnFriday the white gomphrena I started from seed this winter. Feels like it has taken forever to get going. Didn't think much of gomphrena, but I bought a couple of orange ones from the near death rack and they've been great in arrangements so thought I'd give white a try.
Thanks. I like growing my veg and flowers together but the row cover isn't very attractive, so going to have to come up with a different approach. 🤷🏻♀️
🌱 Started from seed, these nearly white sunflowers are new for me this year. We'll see how they do in arrangements.
My lovely Encyclia alata x mooreana is beginning to bloom. The 🐿 managed to spare it unlike the devastation it caused to the oncidium that grows above it.
