Mother, yarner, writer, spouse, space cadet, democrat, my burning rage knows no— ooooh, shiny! Watches all the murder shows!
Said goodbye to my goddess yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night wondering why she hadn’t walked over our heads to get to her spot for pets. Ouch.
My crochet class makes bunnies as a first project. This class had a mother/daughter who added a cape and a scarf to theirs.
I tend to use the variegated as a base and I build around it with neutrals and solid accents. The reason this shawl works is because there’s three sections of variegated with all solids. Take your variegated, decide on a neutral, pull out three solids and build your pattern from there.
I made it to the demonstration— it’s hard to convey that this was bigger than it looks. (Also I’m a terrible photographer— sorry about that!)
My dog has apparently quit the cold. “Walkies are fine on a warm day, mother, but today you can quite go fuck yourself.”
AND that they are good, so good, and I love them even though I have to go.
Made the hat, the sweater, and the sign. The dog is my daughter’s but I sorta made her too 😆
Dog, very relaxed, dad claims she doesn’t love him best. I don’t see it.
So this is what happens when you’re both way busy the day before Mothers Day and your spouse lives you and wants to give you SOMETHING. FTR (before anybody gets mean) we both thought this was hysterical. And true! I have grandpuppies!
This dog has NEVER knowingly rolled in poop. It was ALWAYS an accident and we were SURE it was dirt. Anyone who asserts anything else is LYING I tell you— LYING.
Submitted a pattern for this two-sided heart bag— am pleased that it’s being published.
*Me to dogs* Now repeat after me: If you want to impress me with your undying loyalty do NOT run down the sidewalk threatening some poor pedestrian with dire consequences for daring to breathe in our neighborhood. *note: no pedestrians were frightened during this adventure. Julia came when called
I suck at following patterns so this is something of a triumph for me.
I’d like to congratulate my dog for winning the midnight floor-is-lava challenge. With some zoomies and the destruction of everything in her path she got the big W!
In case anyone needs proof that the dog changes channel more than we do.
